Heavenly Days - Seaside, Florida

The week between Christmas and New Year's is definitely one for relaxation! Heavenly Days is a bright and breezy beach cottage that would be my ideal place to rest up right now...just four houses up from the beach in picturesque Seaside, Florida! The look is decidedly coastal with a soothing palette of sandy neutrals and layers of blues and greens. Love how they painted all of the trimwork a pretty blue hue for a more playful vibe! The tower view looks amazing too...I can only imagine the sunsets! (They have the best sunsets in Seaside!) Lucky for us, this cottage is available to rent. Go here for more pics and rental info!

Waterleaf Interiors

I'm a longtime fan of the Manhattan Beach, California interior design firm Waterleaf Interiors, so I was super excited to see the breezy home of designer Jill Johnson in the recent issue of Coastal Living! (And not just because she used the same whale wallpaper I did in Wesley's room!) Her sunny SoCal home just blocks from the beach is laid-back and livable yet filled with impeccable detail! Love the lighting so much...the chandeliers are especially gorgeous! The breakfast nook might be my favorite spot in the entire home. Those colors are simply dreamy! Jenna Wallis Interior Design

As I was scrolling through the beautiful Memphis home of interior designer Jenna Wallis, my heart skipped a beat when I saw her study–also the designer's favorite space in her home! The pale high-gloss blue lacquered walls are a dreamy backdrop for the vivid peacock accents, not to mention impressive collection of antique pieces and books! Other than the spot-on use of turquoise, I'm especially loving the grouping of landscape paintings that Jenna found at a Paris flea market. But seriously...those chairs! Kevin Thayer Interior Design

Imagine my delight when I stumbled across this amazing kitchen by interior designer Kevin Thayer! The talented designer worked with Greg Terbrock Design Build to create the stunning sea-inspired dream kitchen in Kirkwood, Missouri. The kitchen and dining room received a complete design remodel to reflect the personality and entertaining style of the family. Love how they opened up the wall between the two rooms! The Ann Sacks tile is drop dead gorgeous and paint color so pretty (Sherwin-Williams Hazel SW6471)! And how about those fabulous beaded chandeliers and sconces?! *sigh* Not only is the new space beautiful, it's also super functional...get a better look at some of the smart storage solutions here!
