This beautiful Colorado home designed by Beth Armijo of Denver-based Armijo Design Group has such a fresh take on traditional style, I love it! The splashes of spring-like color brighten things up and instantly make you feel happy! (Those of us covered in snow right now can appreciate that!) The breakfast area is my favorite. Its banquette seating and central location make it a beautiful, functional place to eat, do homework, crafts or play games! I'm really loving that turquoise floral fabric used on the drapes too. Waterleaf Interiors

I'm a longtime fan of the Manhattan Beach, California interior design firm Waterleaf Interiors, so I was super excited to see the breezy home of designer Jill Johnson in the recent issue of Coastal Living! (And not just because she used the same whale wallpaper I did in Wesley's room!) Her sunny SoCal home just blocks from the beach is laid-back and livable yet filled with impeccable detail! Love the lighting so much...the chandeliers are especially gorgeous! The breakfast nook might be my favorite spot in the entire home. Those colors are simply dreamy! I'm so excited to be sharing the work of Dalia Canora, a Connecticut-based interior designer known for her sophisticated style that is always fresh and unpretentious. These beautiful spaces from her portfolio (captured by photographer Jane Beiles) are all inviting yet elegant, and showcase her talent for effortlessly blending color, pattern and texture! From the mudroom (that might be the prettiest one I've ever laid eyes on!) to the super cozy porch, I'm feeling totally inspired by her work! The turquoise-filled girl's room is such a dream too!
