Heavenly Days - Seaside, Florida

The week between Christmas and New Year's is definitely one for relaxation! Heavenly Days is a bright and breezy beach cottage that would be my ideal place to rest up right now...just four houses up from the beach in picturesque Seaside, Florida! The look is decidedly coastal with a soothing palette of sandy neutrals and layers of blues and greens. Love how they painted all of the trimwork a pretty blue hue for a more playful vibe! The tower view looks amazing too...I can only imagine the sunsets! (They have the best sunsets in Seaside!) Lucky for us, this cottage is available to rent. Go here for more pics and rental info!

If there is one thing interior designer Cynthia Collins of Dallas-based Collins Interiors is known for, it's her attention to detail. Each and every element is meticulously planned with the client in mind and chosen for its functionality, meaning and beauty. This incredible home above is a perfect example! As with all of her projects, it is refined, sophisticated, and highlights the unique personality of the clients. Pretty colors and a mix of patterns and textures come together for a look that is both timeless and fresh! When these lucky homeowners wanted to feel like they were at a beach house every day, they turned to LA-based Alexandra Rae Design who used a palette of cool blue, greens, and neutrals to evoke a sense of sun, sea and sky! So many great details throughout like the blue grasscloth painted with a white trellis pattern, custom window coverings, bright blue kitchen island and crisp white wainscoting! Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, I'm all about Christmas! This Richmond, Virginia home by Janie Molster Designs is really inspiring my decorating...I just love those garlands! The home itself is really beautiful though. The bedroom especially caught my attention with the gorgeous Arteriors chandelier (which I just spotted on Joss & Main for a great deal!)
