Merry Christmas!

You've probably all drooled over this image, but I can't help but share it here! The bright and beachy scene was captured by photographer Max Kim-Bee and made the cover of the recent holiday issue of Coastal Living. The retro-inspired palette of sea foam, pinks, and corals is so fun, and I love how the ornaments pop on the flocked tree. The flamingos are too cute! My favorite though?! Merry and bright–my favorite kind of holiday decor! This whimsical Mount Pleasant, South Carolina home belongs to Whitney Moore, owner of the home decor stores Candelabra and Lyndon Leigh. She shares the cottage with her two adorable daughters and says it's all about what they want when it comes to decorating for Christmas! I just love the unconventional color palette filled with turquoise, pinks and all sorts of happy hues! Her kitchen is especially fun. Love how she loaded the colorful ornaments into the chandelier! This family-friendly Little Rock, Arkansas home designed by Katie Henry of Katie Grace Designs is warm, comfortable and modern–with perfect pops of color! It was love at first sight with the turquoise ornaments on the white tree, I love that look so much, but it's especially stunning when paired with those great chairs! Sita Montgomery Interiors

Not only is Sita Montgomery one of the sweetest people I've met through blogging, she is also one of the most inspiring! I can't even tell you how much I love the holiday decor currently displayed in her beautiful Utah home. Her gorgeous flocked tree took my breath away! I adore the shimmering color palette accented with touches of frosty aqua. It's both festive and elegant...and absolutely perfect for her home! Did you notice the pretty buffalo check fabric in the tree? I thought it was ribbon, but she actually bought some inexpensive fabric online, cut it into pieces, then tucked it into the tree! The Happy Housie

Ahh my favorite Vancouver Island home! It's been a couple years since we popped by for a visit, so I'm thrilled to be sharing the lovely lake home of Krista of The Happy Housie all decked out for Christmas! Like me, Krista is a big fan of blue all year round, but especially during the holidays! I love how she blended her blues, whites and hits of red with rustic and natural material, perfect for her picturesque lakeside locale! (I snuck in some photos from her recent kitchen renovation too–isn't the view amazing?!)
