Happy Halloween!

We never got around to decorating our front steps for the fall, aside from a few pumpkins that we carved last night! Not to say there was lack of inspiration in blogland....especially from Sara of Embrace My Space! I love her home all throughout the year (see her guest post here for a tour) but her fall decorations this year were spectacular! The turquoise and orange with her fuchsia door and gorgeous mums?! Stunning! Loving her black and white themed mantel with the stripes in the background too! See tons more pics and get all her savvy tips right over here!

Have a fun and safe Halloween weekend everybody! :)

Glen Mock Custom Homes

I'm loving the mix of styles in this Olathe, Kansas home by Glen Mock Custom Homes, captured by photographer Matt Kocourek! The retro elements (especially the fabulous Big Chill fridge!) give the Craftsman-style farmhouse serious pizzazz, while the splashes of turquoise keep things feeling fresh. The homeowners worked with interior designer Deb King of Reused Consignment Furniture, who did a great job combining old pieces with new for a cozy, eclectic look that's perfect for the more rural setting. Finish your tour and read an article all about the home over at Kansas City Homes & Style!

Lindsey Coral Harper Interiors

The portfolio of New York City interior designer Lindsey Coral Harper is filled with fresh spaces that are young and modern with a twist on the traditional! Influenced by her southern roots as well as extensive travel, her designs perfectly blend bold pattern, texture and color. So often I default to white as a backdrop, but these spaces show how colorful walls can be so complementary to furniture, window coverings and artwork. Love the collected rather than decorated look too! There's still so much eye candy left to see, go here to see the rest of her portfolio!

EA Interior Design

I love when people take the risk and use wallpaper! Interior designer Emily Sheipe of EA Interior Designs chose a fun Thibaut design for this gorgeous Chesapeake, Virginia bathroom, perfect for the open and airy look that the homeowners wanted! I love how it gives the space (photographed here by Hillary Taylor) a fresh, modern vibe while staying true to the traditional feeling throughout the rest of the home. Love the skylights, tons of great storage, and gorgeous soaking tub too. And the shower is a total dream! For more designs by this talented designer, go here! (And be sure to check out the amazing beach house she designed too over here!)
