Mo's Pink Zebra Cottage - Tybee Island, GA

Nothing puts me in a Friday mood like a Jane Coslick cottage! Mo's Pink Zebra Cottage on Tybee Island, Georgia is a recently completed renovation by my favorite designer/preservationist, and I was fortunate enough to get to tour it in person! I didn't even need the address, the pink zebra shutters really gave it away. And upon entering, there was no question Jane's magic was behind every inch of this house! The clean, bright white walls and ceilings let in so much light, and were the perfect backdrop for all of the colorful furniture and accessories. Love Jane's signature mix of old and new too! And how about those fabulous appliances?! They are actually new, Jane just had them sprayed blue at an auto body shop! Genius, I tell ya!

Cortney Bishop Design

It was the fab retro-inspired turquoise appliances that inspired the design of this Sullivan's Island, South Carolina beach cottage! With plenty of original charm still intact, interior designer Cortney Bishop opened up the layout and raised the ceiling height to make this as open and airy as possible, then introduced layers of pattern, texture, and sea-inspired color on the crisp, shiplap backdrop! Love the artwork (especially the photography by Amanda Greeley), recycled glass countertop (Bretagne Blue from Vetrazzo's Coastal Series), the vanity painted Green Blue by Farrow & Ball, and the built-in banquette covered in the fun Kelly Wearstler fabric! Glen Mock Custom Homes

I'm loving the mix of styles in this Olathe, Kansas home by Glen Mock Custom Homes, captured by photographer Matt Kocourek! The retro elements (especially the fabulous Big Chill fridge!) give the Craftsman-style farmhouse serious pizzazz, while the splashes of turquoise keep things feeling fresh. The homeowners worked with interior designer Deb King of Reused Consignment Furniture, who did a great job combining old pieces with new for a cozy, eclectic look that's perfect for the more rural setting.
