Mo's Pink Zebra Cottage - Tybee Island, GA

Nothing puts me in a Friday mood like a Jane Coslick cottage! Mo's Pink Zebra Cottage on Tybee Island, Georgia is a recently completed renovation by my favorite designer/preservationist, and I was fortunate enough to get to tour it in person! I didn't even need the address, the pink zebra shutters really gave it away. And upon entering, there was no question Jane's magic was behind every inch of this house! The clean, bright white walls and ceilings let in so much light, and were the perfect backdrop for all of the colorful furniture and accessories. Love Jane's signature mix of old and new too! And how about those fabulous appliances?! They are actually new, Jane just had them sprayed blue at an auto body shop! Genius, I tell ya!

Limefish - Anna Maria Island, Florida

I can't believe it's been a year since we visited Anna Maria Island, Florida! Oh how I'd love to go back, especially after learning about Limefish! This adorable, colorful cottage is one of eight unique rental homes in the Pineapplefish collection, actually their most popular rental. And this was all before it recently received an incredible makeover! Love all those bright, beachy colors and comfy furnishings, not to mention swimming pool and beach-front location! It could not be more FUN! The turquoise barn door hiding the TV might be my favorite element in the entire home! Love the recycled glass countertop in the bathroom so much too! Rose Cottage

The floors and walls in Rose Cottage, a Gothic Victorian in Eureka Springs, Arkansas took my breath away! From a comment responding to the article, I learned one of the original owners was an interior decorator who spent a ton of time on the floors and walls, achieving this look by adding and taking away multiple layers of color. Since then, Cathy Collins and her husband Jeff bought and renovated the home, keeping all the original charm as well as many of the furnishings...including the beautiful Jenny Lind-style bed, Hoosier cabinet, and chippy turquoise dining table!
