This private residence designed by Art Dioli of Olson + Lewis Architects with interior design by Kristina Crestin Design was beautifully captured by Maine-based photographer Jamie Salomon. I'm telling you guys, I'm in love with everything about this home...the blues and greens reminiscent of the sea, mix of patterns, abundance of sea-glass (love that chandelier!) and use of natural texture! The storage solutions and built-ins are fantastic too, and that gorgeous bathroom of course! The kitchen was recently featured in Boston Home magazine, read all about it here! Southern Tides - Tybee Island, Georgia - Part 1

So this is the absolutely gorgeous home we stayed at while on Tybee Island! (Well half of it anyway, I'll show you the upstairs tomorrow!) Pretty amazing, right?! To say I was blown away when I first walked in is a huge understatement. It felt more like my soul had met its beach home match...all thanks to interior designer and preservationist Jane Coslick! More than anything I loved that Jane kept of the character of the old, beautiful home that it is–the original windows, doors and wood floors were my favorite! But the cheery colors, cozy furniture, fun artwork and unique vintage finds made me so happy every single second we were there too!

We had ten people in our group, including 4 kiddos, and we all loved our time at Southern Tides. Evenings on the front porch, family meals, movie nights, pool time, playtime, nap time, just hanging out...and of course the close proximity to the beach! I just love the beach on Tybee–as did Wesley, the little guy couldn't get enough of the waves! Truly a great vacation, and I'm so thankful to the owners who share their slice of heaven as a rental so others can experience their incredible home!

Rachel Reider Interiors | 21 Broad

First off, thank you all SO much for the birthday wishes for Wesley yesterday! It was so fun getting the emails and comments all day long! You made the day even more special for us! :)

Now on to this fabulous hotel! The next time I visit Nantucket, choosing where to stay is going to be difficult–all thanks to interior designer Rachel Reider! Her most recent hotel project is 21 Broad, a boutique hotel (photographed here by Rare Brick) that recently underwent a huge historic renovation. Love the fresh, modern vibe with unexpected pops of color, bold artwork and great texture!
