Coastal Living 2015 Seagrove Idea Cottage

Located along dreamy Scenic 30A in Florida is the Coastal Living 2015 Seagrove Idea Cottage, a 1980s fixer-upper transformed by one of my favorite designers–Paige Sumblin Schnell of Tracery Interiors! She worked with her husband Mark Schnell of Schnell Urban Design and Peter Horn of Artisan, Inc. to completely update the beach cottage with a modern design filled with fun color! I was so inspired by all of the rooms. The gallery wall in the bedroom and the open shelving in the kitchen are just a couple of my favorite details! I especially love the office (painted Benjamin Moore's Covington Blue) that doubles as a guest room. Smart use of space right there! To see more of the idea home photographed by Jean Allsopp and Tria Giovan (styled by Rachael Burrow and Lynn Nesmith), check out the before pics, and read all about the home (including sources!), just visit Coastal Living!

Echelon Interiors

I can't think of a better way to kick off the new year than with this bright and beautiful coastal Delaware home by Echelon Interiors! The color palette throughout is positively refreshing! Love the layers of blues and greens, fun mix and match of patterns and subtle nods to the beach. The turquoise tufted furniture in the family room couldn't be more fun too! If you're in the Millsboro, DE, you can tour this home in person...get that info and view floor plans here! And if you loved this one, you have to see another home by Echelon Interiors that I featured last fall...go here!

Armijo Design Group

This beautiful Colorado home designed by Beth Armijo of Denver-based Armijo Design Group has such a fresh take on traditional style, I love it! The splashes of spring-like color brighten things up and instantly make you feel happy! (Those of us covered in snow right now can appreciate that!) The breakfast area is my favorite. Its banquette seating and central location make it a beautiful, functional place to eat, do homework, crafts or play games! I'm really loving that turquoise floral fabric used on the drapes too. And the gorgeous kitchen! See the rest of the home here!
