Paz González de Aguilar

This cozy living room by Paz González de Aguilar, photographed by D. Vijande and F. Scheffel for El Mueble feels so warm and inviting, and above all just plain relaxing–exactly what we need with Thanksgiving right around the corner! Love those hits of turquoise and yellow; they help keep the vibe fresh and bright, while giving the rustic space a more current look. The collection of vases on the coffee table is my favorite! And how fantastic would it be to have those big doors that open right up to the garden?! Can't do that here in Minnesota right now! See the rest of the home right here–just click on Galería!

We are headed out on a road trip to Chicago for Thanksgiving, so I'll be having guest bloggers on to keep you inspired while I'm away! Be sure to visit my turquoise shopping blog Everything Turquoise too, I've been sharing a lot of great gift ideas and turquoise holiday decor lately! You might get some ideas for your own wish list too! ;)

Victoria Hagan Interiors

I knew right away when I saw this incredible home that it had to be on Nantucket, one of my favorite places ever! The dream home belongs to renowned NYC-based interior designer Victoria Hagan, who filled her family's summer home with a palette of pale neutrals accented with splashes of blue, perfectly reflecting the island’s classic style. Both elegant and comfortable, the home is everything a beach house should be; bright and breezy with a focus on being with the ones you love! See more photos by Pieter Estersohn and read an article about the home over at Architectural Digest!

If you're a fan of Victoria Hagan's work, definitely check out her book Victoria Hagan: Interior Portraits! Have a great weekend everyone!

The Southern Grind Coffee House - Orange Beach, Al

I've been wanting to visit Orange Beach, Alabama for so long–I hear their beaches are spectacular! I can tell you right now where I'd get my coffee fix: The Southern Grind Coffee House! Actually they serve way more than just coffee...including gelato! And they have a huge selection of one-of-a-kind gifts, home decor, and art, some of which were handmade by Jim and Jaime McPhillips, the owners of The Southern Grind. They actually created the flag right above, LOVE that so much! The decor of the coffee shop (photographed here by Carmen Brisolara and Indy Daigle) is warm and inviting, and totally up my alley with all the weathered wood and pretty paint color (Benjamin Moore Green Wave 681)! Love that they are dog-friendly too! See tons more photos, check out their menu and find their location all right over here!

Oh and you have to see these adorable coastal Christmas trees that Jim and Jaime made...they're for sale online (along with their cute flags!) over at Outer Banks Trading Group!

Gridley + Graves Photographers

This sweet little cottage renovated and decorated by Erin O'Connor Design is located in the hamlet of Union Pier, Michigan...yet another place to add to my must-visit list! Beautifully styled and captured by Anne Gridley and Gary Graves of Gridley + Graves Photographers for Beach Cottages magazine, the coastal cottage is filled with a color scheme as fresh as a summer's day! Blues and greens along with great vintage finds make it an inviting, super-cozy getaway. The sunroom photo really took my breath away. Love those paisley chairs and blue ottoman with the breezy wall color, not to mention all the sunlight flowing in! For even more design eye candy from these talented photographers, go here!
